Strange Saturday Stuff

Ah ha! Another Saturday of the strange, (and not so strange)stuff that I like to post during the weekend. So first it should be a series of books that are strange, then it is off to the magazine rack!

Here is a very strange series from a very strange author. Mark Henry has survived more natural catastrophies than almost anyone on earth, but still breathes to bring us some of the most twisted and humorous 'undead' fiction out there. What do you do if you are a stylin' babe with more fashion sense than most, sex appeal high as the moon, and find yourself newly undead? Well, there really is only one answer, road trip! These books will give you an idea of what a world with sentient undead would really be like, and honestly, it is mostly hilarious.

Now for the not-so-strange, or the I-like-to-think-having-them-is-strange magazines! The 1940's was a decade of war, and most of the magazines of the time reflected that mental shift in perception and interests. Here are a few from that period;

Complete War Novels Magazine January 1943.rar

G-8 and His Battle Aces December 1943.rar

Of course there was also the need for pure escapism from thoughts of war;

Weird Tales September 1945.rar

  1. Yeah, yeah, I know, magazines aren't strange, but then tell me, when do you normally see a copy of G-8 and his Battle Aces?

    Oh, by the way pandapaws should take note of the steaming hot zombie gal in the series by Mark Henry, and she said there weren't sexy zombies!

  2. Oh, Beth. These are so great! :-)

    I've been out all day and just got home and literally dragged myself to my rocking chair and to the keyboard. ;-)
