Strange Saturday Stuff

Today's foray into strangeness is begun with some more Bizarro genre books. The first one by Andersen Prunty is a re-telling of Hansel and Gretel, you may be amazed at the quality of the writing in this strange, but moving and magical piece. The second story, by Jordan Krall, may be the most bodily fluids-packed disturbing thing I have ever read. Mondo bizarre!

Next, we have the last part of our Saturday strangeness, (even if nobody else thinks it is strange) the magazines! And this week we visit the roaring twenties, the most liberal and happenin' decade in our history before now. Here we visit the 'adult'  entertainment trade through the magazines that reflected it.
